What's New in the 2024 Mustang Mach-E?
The 2024 model year brings exhilarating updates to the Mustang Mach-E, starting with its performance. It now boasts the quickest acceleration in its history, reaching 0-60 mph in just 3.3 seconds, surpassing rivals like the Tesla Model Y Performance and Porsche Macan 4 Electric. This milestone is achieved through the Mustang Mach-E GT with the Performance Upgrade, which also shatters the quarter mile in 11.8 seconds at 114 mph.
Enhanced Performance Features
Ford has not only focused on speed but also on delivering a dynamic driving experience with the Performance Upgrade. This includes advanced powertrain thermal modeling, control algorithms, and a newly developed in-house eMotor. These enhancements contribute an additional 100 lb. ft. of torque over models without the upgrade. Standard on the new Mustang Mach-E Rally and available for the Mustang Mach-E GT, this upgrade can be selected at purchase or activated later, offering flexibility to customers.
Standardized High-Performance Components
For the 2024 Mustang Mach-E GT, Ford has standardized features that were previously exclusive to the 2023 Performance Edition. These include Ford Performance front seats, the MagneRide® Damping System, and Brembo™ branded front brake calipers, ensuring that high performance is no longer an option but a standard.

The 2024 Mustang Mach-E introduces a lighter rear eMotor across all trim levels, enhancing torque and overall vehicle performance. With an available extended range battery, the latest model charges 20 percent faster using DC fast charging technology—achieving a 10-80% charge in about 36.2 minutes. Standard range models see a reduction in charging time too, further minimizing downtime and enhancing convenience.
Expanded Charging Network and Navigation Tools
Ford is expanding its EV infrastructure, granting Mustang Mach-E drivers access to over 15,000 Tesla Superchargers through the BlueOval™ Charge Network. New integrations with Google Maps and Apple Maps enhance the EV routing functionality, making it easier to locate charging stations. The Public Charging app further simplifies the connection to chargers, ensuring a seamless travel experience.
